Group Training

Structured workshops for organisations and communities

Document literacy is a skill. Like any skill, it can be taught, practiced, and embedded into daily habits. Our group training programmes bring this knowledge to teams, communities, and organisations in a structured, engaging format.

What a session looks like

Each workshop is built around practical application. Participants leave with real tools, not just awareness.

Session Duration

Standard workshops run between two and four hours. Extended programmes spanning multiple sessions are available for deeper curriculum coverage. We adapt to what the group needs.

Group Size

We work with groups from eight to forty participants. Smaller groups allow for more individual interaction. Larger groups benefit from structured breakout activities and peer discussion.

Location

Sessions are delivered at your premises, at a venue of your choosing, or at our Bydgoszcz location. We bring all necessary materials and can adapt the setup to different room configurations.

Language

All workshops are available in Polish and English. Bilingual sessions can be arranged for mixed-language groups. Materials are provided in the relevant language for each participant.

Topics covered in training

Our curriculum is modular. Organisations choose which modules are most relevant to their audience and we build the session accordingly.

Module 1

The Document Landscape

An overview of the main document categories every adult should be aware of. Participants learn what exists, why it matters, and what the consequences of neglect can look like in practical terms.

Module 2

Building Your Filing System

Practical guidance on creating a filing system that works. We cover both physical and digital approaches, naming conventions, folder structures, and the logic behind categorisation decisions.

Module 3

Emergency Document Kits

What to include in an emergency document kit, how to store it, and how to ensure it is accessible to the right people when needed. Participants build a personal kit checklist during the session.

Module 4

Digital Security Basics

An accessible introduction to protecting digital documents. Password management, secure cloud storage, backup strategies, and recognising common risks. No technical background required.

Module 5

Life Planning Essentials

An introduction to the documents that support long-term planning: wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and beneficiary designations. Why these matter and how to approach them.

Module 6

Maintenance and Review

How to keep a document system current over time. Review schedules, triggers for updates, and how to involve family members in maintaining shared document awareness.

Organisations that benefit from this training

Employers

Offering document organisation training as part of employee wellbeing programmes. Workers who have their personal affairs in order are more focused and less stressed.

Community Organisations

Charities, housing associations, community centres, and social organisations that serve populations who benefit from this knowledge but rarely encounter it.

Educational Institutions

Schools and universities introducing practical life skills alongside academic education. Document literacy is a gap in most curricula that we help fill.

Discuss your group's needs
with our team

Every group is different. We start with a conversation about your audience, your goals, and the time you have available, then we design the right session.
